The
number of lessons required to pass the practical driving test will
depend on the ability of the individual, this can be anything up
to 40 hours.

Moving off and stopping the vehicle
Left and right turns - Major to minor roads
Junctions
- approach and observation
Emerging - Minor to major roads
Awareness and anticipation - Hazard recognition
Understanding and reaction to - Signal signs and road markings
Crossroads and roundabouts
Interacting with other vehicles
Manoeuvres (turning, parking, reversing)
Pedestrian crossings and use of signals
Correct use of speed including dual carriageway
Emergency stops and use of mirrors
